A live flight data analysis service

Sagem Cassiopee is a flight data monitoring service that is used for flight security, air operations, navigation and aircraft maintenance. It provides airlines with high level management intelligence, safety and quality data and flight operations reporting.

The app built by Theodo collects data through the Cassiopee services and visualises that data on a secure platform.

The app was mentioned by Philippe Arnaud, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales & Business Development of Sagem at the 2013 Bourget air fair.

Theodo's Approach: Symfony2, Bootsrap and Devops

With Symfony2, the leading PHP framework, we reused existing and pre-tested modules. Thanks to Twitter Bootstrap, the open-source design framework, the application was optimised for both desktop and tablet users. The app was delivered quickly, with the ability to scale and bug prevention thanks to Theodo's Devops skills. Continuous delivery and integration with Fabric and Jenkins, functional and unit tests with PHPUnit and Behat, Vagrant for the provisioning of OpenStack virtual machines with Puppet.
