What we do

Theodo is a consultancy and digital development agency, founded by Benoît Charles-Lavauzelle and Fabrice Bernhard in 2009. Today we number 200 in total, based in London, Paris and New York

We build custom web and mobile apps with our clients to increase their market share and productivity. Our team of experts bring our clients into the development process from start to finish, delivering tangible solutions as early as possible in the process.

In 2019, we worked with large corporates, SMEs and startups: MADE.com, Admiral, Birdie, Société Générale, and Alfa Systems to name a few.

We're part of M33, a startup studio that brings together 7 companies, all working to create digital solutions for our clients: Theodo, Theodo UK and Theodo US for web development; BAM for mobile; SICARA for Big Data; SIPIOS for fintech and Padok for DevOps.

Fabrice and Benoît started their first business together in 2007. Theodo was born two years later.

Benoît graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and HEC School of Management.

He is the co-founder of Theodo and M33, coaching the CEOs of the incubated startups and focusing on commercial development of the ecosystem.

Benoît is a certified Scrum Master who trained with the co-creator of SCRUM, Jeff Sutherland. His expertise spans both Agile and Lean methodologies. He has been a keynote speaker at several Lean conferences since 2013.

In addition to Theodo and M33, Benoît co-founded Allomatch.

Fabrice graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and ETH Zürich. He serves as Theodo's CTO and helps our clients improve their technical strategies. His one goal? To create business value.

Fabrice was chairman of the French Association of PHP users (AFUP) and co-created both the Association of French-speaking users of Symfony (AFSY) and the Devops-Paris meetups.

He speaks at international conferences, most recently the 2019 Tech Rocks summit, and wrote the chapter Developing for Facebook in More with Symfony.

Theodo was voted #1 start-up to work for in Les Echos Happy at Work awards 2016. Innovative culture, confidence in management and excellent career development were some of the most cited reasons for loving working here.

Having presented to a jury of 10 business leaders, Theodo UK was awarded the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce's SME and Start-Up award. This accolade is testament to the speed and quality at which we deliver for our clients.

Theodo is part of the French 2013, 2014 and 2015 Deloitte Technology Fast 50. This stamp is given to the fastest growing companies in the technology sector in the last 5 years.

The FT 1000, compiled with Statista, lists the European companies that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2014 and 2017.
